VERSION II
|
LGW (Lost Girl Wondering) was offline for almost 2 years to pave way for Version 4 that was supposed to go live last May 2007.
Version 4 never got past the
"Coming soon" page and due to constant questions from friends on when will the site will go live again (shucks!), I decided to
scrape off the Version 4 idea (I don't have time to finish the version 4 layout anyway) and re-launch version 3 instead. So...
welcome to lost GIRL wondering.
You can still view my old files in an archive. you can access girl-wondering version2
here and
my old online portfolio (last updated oct 2004)
here...
Portfolio page is STILL under construction (almost 3 years in the making now!) and will most likely never be finished. I changed my
blog's URL. I'm still thinking on whether or not to put a link here to my new blog (w-ell, it's not exactly new, considering my last entry was August
2007).
I am sloooowly updating the contents (when time permits) so until then, you'll be seeing the old updates from 2006 and early 2007 :)
thanks for visiting!

"HOW TO SAVE A LIFE"
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong (where did I go wrong), I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up (I would of stayed up) with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
"OVER MY HEAD (Cable Car)"
I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
Let's rearrange
I wish you were a stranger I could disengage
Say that we agree and then never change
Soften a bit until we all just get along
But that's disregard
Find another friend and you discard
As you lose the argument in a cable car
Hanging above as the canyon comes between
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
And suddenly I become a part of your past
I'm becoming the part that don't last
I'm losing you and its effortless
Without a sound we lose sight of the ground
In the throw around
Never thought that you wanted to bring it down
I won't let it go down till we torch it ourselves
Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
